Game theoretic results are exploited to investigate the intercell interference management in SCFD-based cellular networks under infeasible QoS requirements and a computationally efficient distributed algorithm, which realizes best effort and fair wireless services is designed.
Abstract
Several emerging mobile applications and services (eg, autonomous cars) require higher wireless throughput than ever before This demand stresses the need for investigating novel methods that have the potential to dramatically increase the spectral efficiency (SE) of wireless systems An evolving approach is the Single-channel full duplex (SCFD) communication where each node may simultaneously receive and transmit over the same frequency channel, and, hence, this could potentially double the current SE figures In an earlier research work, we derived a model of the signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR) in an SCFD-based cellular system with imperfect self interference cancellation, and investigated interference management under feasible QoS requirements In this paper, game theoretic results are exploited to investigate the intercell interference management in SCFD-based cellular networks under infeasible QoS requirements The investigation starts with a game formulation that captures two different cases Then, the existence and uniqueness of the Nash equilibrium point are established After that, a computationally efficient distributed algorithm, which realizes best effort and fair wireless services, is designed The merit of this scheme is that, when the QoS requirements are feasible, they will be achieved with minimum energy consumption Results of extensive simulation experiments are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed schemes

TL;DR: The proposed DTV-LMS algorithm establishes the non-linear relationship between step factor and the evolved arct-angent function, and using the relationship between the time parameter and error signal correlation value to coordinately control the step factor to be updated, maintains a low computational complexity.

A Study on Methods for Managing Full-Duplex Self-Interference

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors provide a comprehensive analysis of the steps necessary to disable self-interference in wireless networks and allow full duplex (FD) broadcasting, and highlight not only the various strategies for mitigating the selfinterference that occurs when FD equipment is activated, but also other methods that have a significant impact on self interference in satellite propagation.

Convex Optimization

TL;DR: In this article, the focus is on recognizing convex optimization problems and then finding the most appropriate technique for solving them, and a comprehensive introduction to the subject is given. But the focus of this book is not on the optimization problem itself, but on the problem of finding the appropriate technique to solve it.

Solving least squares problems

TL;DR: Since the lm function provides a lot of features it is rather complicated so it is going to instead use the function lsfit as a model, which computes only the coefficient estimates and the residuals.

Full duplex radios

TL;DR: The design and implementation of the first in-band full duplex WiFi radios that can simultaneously transmit and receive on the same channel using standard WiFi 802.11ac PHYs are presented and achieves close to the theoretical doubling of throughput in all practical deployment scenarios.
