A new empirical regularity for multiplicity distributions in place of KNO scaling

TLDR
In this article, the inelastic, non-single-diffractive component of p p reactions at 540 GeV CMS energy and of pp reactions above about 10 GeV are described by a negative binomial distribution at each energy.

Very high-energy collisions of hadrons

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors predict the character of longitudinal-momentum distributions in hadron collisions of extreme energies, and propose a method to predict the distribution of the longitudinal momentum distribution.

Scaling of multiplicity distributions in high-energy hadron collisions

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that asymptotically, the scaling law of the multiplicity distribution is only a function of n /∆ n ǫ, where ∆ n ( s ) is the number of vertices.

Charged particle multiplicity distributions in pp collisions at ISR energies

TL;DR: In this article, the first direct measurements of charged particle multiplicity distributions for pp collisions at ISR energies were performed by means of a streamer chamber detector with large solid-angle coverage and excellent multitrack efficiency.

Experimental results on strong interactions in the NAL hydrogen bubble chamber

TL;DR: A review of the data obtained on high-energy hadronic interactions in the 30-in. hydrogen bubble chamber at the National Accelerator Laboratory is presented in this paper, where five main topics discussed are (a) topological cross sections and multiplicity distributions, (b) studies of the diffraction process observed in some low multiplicity final states, (c) single particle inclusive spectra, (d) neutral particle production, and (e) multiparticle correlations.
