In this paper, a new subspecies of the subsection Triflora (Hutch.) Sleumer of the genus Rhododendron is proposed, R. zaleucum Balf. f. et W. W. Smith subsp. lepidofolium Xiang Chen et Xun Chen subsp. nov., and the Guizhou distribution of the species, R. zaleucum Balf. f. et W. W. Smith, is also discussed. One species of the subsection Lapponica (Balf. f. ) Sleumer,R. impeditum Balf. f. et W. W. Smith, is reported for the first time for the flora of Guizhou.read more
