Self-Compassion and Physical Activity: The Underpinning Role of Psychological Distress and Barrier Self-Efficacy

TL;DR: In this article , the authors examined the hypothesis that self-compassion's positive influence on physical activity operates through reduced psychological distress and subsequently increased barrier self-efficacy, with the positive influences of selfcompassion being more prominent in more vigorous physical activity.
