Double precision vector of coefficients in order of decreasing powers of the variable D E G R E E E integer degree of the polynomial ZEROR, double precision vectors of real and imaginary parts of the zeros found ZEROI by the algorithm FAIL logical parameter.
Abstract
OP double precision vector of coefficients in order of decreasing powers of the variable D E G R E E integer degree of the polynomial ZEROR, double precision vectors of real and imaginary parts of the zeros found ZEROI by the algorithm FAIL logical parameter which is true only if the leading coefficient is zero or if RPOLY has found fewer than degree zeros; in the latter case the degree is reset to the number of zeros found.

The PORT Mathematical Subroutine Library

TL;DR: The development at Bell Laboratorms of PORT, a hbrary of portable Fortran programs for numemcal computation, is discussed and the library is built around an automatm error-handling facility and a dynamm storage allocatmn scheme, both of which are implemented portably.

Real-time visual-inertial mapping, re-localization and planning onboard MAVs in unknown environments

TL;DR: This work uses visual-inertial odometry to keep the MAV airborne safely locally, as well as for exploration of the environment based on high-level input by an operator.

ellc: A fast, flexible light curve model for detached eclipsing binary stars and transiting exoplanets

TL;DR: In this article, a triaxial ellipsoid model was proposed to analyze the light curves of detached eclipsing binary stars and transiting exoplanet systems that can include the effects of star spots, Doppler boosting and light-travel time within binaries with eccentric orbits.

Polynomial root finding

TL;DR: A program is presented that is superior in speed and accuracy to the best methods to the authors' knowledge, i.e., Jenkins/Traub (1975) program and the eigenvalue method to improve the accuracy for spectral factorization in the case that there are double roots on the unit circle.

Three‐Degree‐of‐Freedom Model for Galloping. Part II: Solutions

TL;DR: In this article, the conditions for the initiation of galloping and the governing bifurcation equations were derived for dynamic motions for internal nonresonant and resonant galloping of an iced electrical transmission line by employing a three-degree-of-freedom (3DOF) model.

A Three-Stage Algorithm for Real Polynomials Using Quadratic Iteration

TL;DR: In this article, a new three-stage process for calculating the zeros of polynomial with real coefficients is introduced. The algorithm finds either a linear or quadratic factor, working completely in real arithmetrical space.

Principles for Testing Polynomial Zerofinding Programs

TL;DR: The authors' algorithm for real polynomials has been reprogrammed with substantial modifications to the decision making processes and underwent testing to verify that the new program is a reliable and efficient mathematical software product.
