Directional performance issues in evaluation and design of articulated heavy vehicles
TL;DR: A review of the dynamics of heavy road-vehicle systems emphasizing directional performance is presented in this paper, where the authors present information on the following topics: why are articulated vehicles used; units, hitches, and combination vehicles; multiple axle suspensions and steering systems; important performance issues; models and simulation tools; and controlling directional performance.

Coordinated control of active safety systems for multi-trailer articulated heavy vehicles
TL;DR: In this article, a table of contents and a list of FIGURES and TABLES are presented. But the list of figures is not exhaustive. And the list is not complete.

An optimised braking force distribution strategy for articulated vehicles
TL;DR: In this paper, a new approach to achieve the braking force distribution strategy is presented for two-axle vehicles and a tractor semi-trailer, where the tractor axle loads are functions of the loading as well as the braking forces of the trailer.

Tyre Modelling for Use in Vehicle Dynamics Studies
TL;DR: In this paper, a new way of representing tyre data obtained from measurements in pure cornering and pure braking conditions has been developed in order to further improve the Dynamic Safety of vehicles, making use of a formula with coefficients which describe some of the typifying quantities of a tyre, such as slip stiffnesses at zero slip and force and torque peak values.
