TLDR
Weight-average molecular weights and intrinsic viscosities in dimethyl formamide at 25° have been measured for four unfractionated low-conversion acrylonitrile polymers covering the molecular weight range 30 to 250 thousand as mentioned in this paper.

Studies in polymerization XII. Salt effects on the polymerization of acrylonitrile in non-aqueous solution

TL;DR: In this article, a study of the polymerization of acrylonitrile in NN -dimethylformamide solution at 60°C in the presence of a number of lithium salts, including a determination of the absolute velocity coefficients, has been made.

Exploratory experiments in the conversion of plasticized melt spun PAN-based precursors to carbon fibers

TL;DR: In this paper, an exploratory investigation into the production of carbon fibers from experimental plasticized melt-spanked, PAN-based precursors is reported, which shows that carbon fibers of reasonable strength, up to an average of 15 cN/dtex (2.5 GN/m2).
