TLDR
In this paper, a simple Thomas-Fermi method for nuclear matter calculations is used to examine how well the non-local potential derived by Morley, Pursey and Williams from the constituent quark model can represent the actual interaction.
Abstract
A simple Thomas - Fermi method for nuclear matter calculations is used to examine how well the non-local potential derived by Morley, Pursey and Williams from the constituent quark model can represent the actual interaction. A strong net repulsion is found which grows rapidly with the nucleon size.

Constituent quark model of the nucleon-nucleon interaction. 1. general formalism

TL;DR: The semirelativistic constituent quark model is used in conjunction with the resonating group method to obtain a nonlocal Schroedinger equation for the two-nucleon system and is presented explicitly and analytically.

Can one simultaneously describe the deuteron properties and the nucleon-nucleon phase shifts in the quark cluster model

TL;DR: Deuteron properties have been calculated in the framework of the constituent quark model using a quark-quark interaction which incorporates [sigma] and [pi] chiral mesons besides the one-gluon exchange between quarks.

A hybrid model approach to the meson and quark theory of nuclear forces and currents

TL;DR: In this paper, a simple model for nucleon-nucleon interactions within the framework of the quark cluster theory was proposed, which simultaneously incorporated the quarks and gluon exchange mechanism at short distance and the meson-exchange mechanism at long and intermediate distances.

Nucleon-nucleon interaction as derived from the De Rujula, Georgi, Glashow phenomenological quark-quark potential

TL;DR: In this paper, the nucleon-nucleon interaction, originating from the phenomenological quark-quark interaction: one gluon exchange with an ad hoc confining potential, is rigorously derived.

Quark exchange currents in nuclei: Effective operator description

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors introduced effective quark exchange current operators which can be used in nuclear structure calculations, i.e., the photon is coupled directly to the quarks.

Quark Model of the Deuteron

TL;DR: In this article, a model of the two-nucleon interaction derived from the potential model of baryons is proposed, which leads to a non-local Schr\"odinger equation for the deuteron which has been solved numerically.
