The output error with extended estimation model adaptive algorithm is proposed and evaluated for real-time estimation of the parameters of the signal model.Abstract:
Several problems in signal processing can be approached as recursive identification problems for AR, ARMA or ARMAX models. The output error with extended estimation model adaptive algorithm is proposed and evaluated for real-time estimation of the parameters of the signal model. The applications of these techniques for the adaptive signal processing are presented. The theoretical aspects related to the convergence properties of this algorithm are also discussed.read more

Adaptive stochastic filters with no strict positive real condition

TL;DR: A new adaptive stochastic filter structure is introduced which avoids the strict passivity test used as a sufficient condition for convergence required by existing adaptive schemes and it is shown that the proposed algorithm will also reduce the bias in the estimated parameters.

Elimination of the real positivity condition in the design of parallel MRAS
TL;DR: In this article, the adaptive state observers are used as identifiers and the adaptive compensator acting on the generalized error is adapted recursively to ensure the global asymptotic stability of the adaptive system without requiring the satisfaction of a positive real condition.

On adaptive IIR filters and parallel adaptive identifiers with adaptive error filtering
TL;DR: This paper clearly identifies the possible stall/failure mechanism of one of these candidate algorithms and proves the global stability of the other, but notes the equation error type source of the second's biased-ness in the presence of output measurement noise.
