Ultrasonography of Small Intestinal Inflammatory and Neoplastic Diseases in Dogs and Cats

TL;DR: Ultrasonography, which has become a mainstay of diagnosing intestinal diseases in dogs and cats, is often one of the first diagnostic tools used to differentiate inflammatory from neoplastic infiltration of the small intestine.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Paraprostatic Cyst in a Male Belgian Malinois MILITARY Working Dog

TL;DR: It was determined that male military dogs needed neutralization surgery at the age of six months, a positive stage, to prevent male genital disease.
Journal ArticleDOI

Update on Hepatobiliary Imaging

TL;DR: Although less broadly available than ultrasound, advanced imaging is becoming more accessible, not only through academic institutions, but through the increasing number of specialty practices worldwide.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ultrasonography of the bovine respiratory system and its practical application.

TL;DR: Ultrasonography of the respiratory system is a noninvasive and readily available tool that allows an accurate evaluation of the pleura and some superficial lung lesions that can aid clinicians in the diagnosis and treatment of various thoracic conditions that affect cattle.
Journal ArticleDOI

Correlation of renal histopathology with renal echogenicity in dogs and cats: an ex-vivo quantitative study

TL;DR: Different histopathological lesions influence the echogenicity of the kidneys in dogs and cats, and MGV is a poor test for distinguishing between normal and pathological kidneys in the dog but seems to perform globally better in the cat, resulting in a fair test.
