A cable-connection or joining device for electrically conducting connection of a multi-cored cable to an electrical appliance or for similarly connecting two multi-cored cables. The ends of the cores making contact with the insulation-piercing terminals (6) and the associated insulation-piercing terminals (6) extend at an angle of less than 180 degrees and the insulating-piecing terminals (6) pierce the core insulation of the core-ends when the union or cap nut is screwed up.
