TLDR
In this paper, the spontaneous polarization of barium ferrites partially substituted with In, Al, Ga and Sc ions was found out in solid solutions, partially substituting with In and Al ions that is an evidence of their ferroelectric properties.

A profile refinement method for nuclear and magnetic structures

TL;DR: In this paper, a structure refinement method was described which does not use integrated neutron powder intensities, single or overlapping, but employs directly the profile intensities obtained from step-scanning measurements of the powder diagram.
Journal ArticleDOI

Recent advances in magnetic structure determination by neutron powder diffraction

TL;DR: In this article, the main formulas governing the analysis of the Bragg magnetic scattering are summarized and shortly discussed and the method of profile fitting without a structural model to get precise integrated intensities and refine the propagation vector(s) of the magnetic structure is discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

The HighScore suite

TL;DR: A brief overview of the HighScore with the Plus option (HighScore Plus) suite focusing on the latest additions and its user-friendliness is presented.

Ferroelectrics go bananas

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that ordinary bananas exhibit closed loops of switched charge versus applied voltage that are nearly identical to those misinterpreted as ferroelectric hysteresis loops in crystals.
