Design of Transfer Alignment Algorithm with Velocity and Azimuth Matching for the Aircraft Having Wing Flexibility

TL;DR: In this paper , an airborne transfer alignment with velocity and azimuth matching to estimate inertial sensor biases under the wing flexure influence is presented. But the performance of the proposed Kalman filter is analyzed using two factors; one is the estimation performance of gyroscope and accelerometer bias and the other is comparing aircraft dynamics and attitude covariance.
Journal ArticleDOI

Adaptive hybrid modeling method based on CV-Hypercube

TL;DR: In this paper , an adaptive hybrid modeling method (AHM-CVH) based on cross-validation hypercube of Kriging and RBF is proposed, which first generates a hypercube centered on the sample point with the largest crossvalidation error, then candidate points are randomly sampled in the hypercube, and finally get a new sample point which is farthest from the center and surrounding samples.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

A short note on post-hoc testing using random forests algorithm: Principles, asymptotic time complexity analysis, and beyond

TL;DR: This work addresses the issue of whether a continuous variable differs between categories of a factor variable or their combinations using a random forest-based algorithm, practically assumption-free, classifying individual observations into the factor’s categories using the dependent continuous variable and covariates on input.

Modeling foot-and-mouth disease dissemination in Brazil and evaluating the effectiveness of control measures

TL;DR: In this paper , a multiscale compartmental stochastic model that considers population dynamics, births, deaths, and species-specific transmission dynamics was proposed to evaluate the effectiveness of countermeasures.
Journal ArticleDOI

An LMI approach to robust iterative learning control with initial state learning

TL;DR: In this article , a robust convergence condition of iterative learning control with initial state learning (ILC-ISL) for linear multivariable discrete-time systems in the presence of iteration-varying uncertainty is presented.

Statistical Power Analysis for the Behavioral Sciences

TL;DR: The concepts of power analysis are discussed in this paper, where Chi-square Tests for Goodness of Fit and Contingency Tables, t-Test for Means, and Sign Test are used.
Journal ArticleDOI

The moderator–mediator variable distinction in social psychological research: Conceptual, strategic, and statistical considerations.

TL;DR: This article seeks to make theorists and researchers aware of the importance of not using the terms moderator and mediator interchangeably by carefully elaborating the many ways in which moderators and mediators differ, and delineates the conceptual and strategic implications of making use of such distinctions with regard to a wide range of phenomena.

The CES-D Scale: A Self-Report Depression Scale for Research in the General Population

TL;DR: The CES-D scale as discussed by the authors is a short self-report scale designed to measure depressive symptomatology in the general population, which has been used in household interview surveys and in psychiatric settings.
