In this paper, a method is presented which calculates the thermogram by optimizing the parameters of a theoretical model, which introduces the characteristics of the apparatus by a convolution technique, and it is unnecessary to assume an analytical form of this function as in previous methods of analysis by deconvolution.

Détermination directe des constantes cinétiques d'une réaction chimique par microcalorimétrie à conduction application à la saponification des diesters

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a direct determination of the kinetic constants of competitive consecutive reactions based on thermograms recorded with a Calvet conduction microcalorimeter using a computing program which includes numerical integration of differential equation systems, signal convolution with an experimental function of apparatus (to get rid of the inertness of the detector-recorder system) and the optimization of the adopted model parameters.
