Selenium in environmental waters: Determination, speciation and concentration levels.

TL;DR: This article reviews the different methods used for the determination of selenium species in all types of environmental waters and basic difficulties are discussed and the efficiency of the methods is explained in view of the sub-mug/1.

Toxicological profile for selenium

J. Risher
TL;DR: This edition supersedes any previously released draft or final profile for selenium and is a unique compilation of toxicological information on a given hazardous substance.

Atomic absorption and fluorescence spectroscopy with a carbon filament atom reservoir : Part I. Construction and operation of atom reservoir

TL;DR: In this paper, a carbon filament atom reservoir is described for use in atomic absorption and atomic fluoresence spectroscopy, which operates with an inexpensive transformer unit and is so compact that it may easily be fitted in the place of the burner-nebuliser unit on any commercial atomic absorption equipment and operated with perfect safety without flame extractors or precautions against fire or electrocution hazards.
Journal ArticleDOI

Studies of atmospheric N2O

TL;DR: A large number of measurements of atmospheric N2O have been made by a gas chromatic method over a period of 2.5 years, almost daily samples were taken at Mainz as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Spectrophotometric determination of traces of selenium with diaminobenzidine

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used Diaminobenzidine for the spectrophotometric determination of traces of selenium in tellurium and in sulfur, provided that the latter is present in the sulfate form.
