TLDR
In this article, the authors considered metal as one of production factors nested with capital and labor, and employed normalized supply-side system approach to estimate the elasticity of substitution in constant elasticity-of-substitution function and analyzed technical change bias based on the analytical framework built in this paper.

Factor reallocation and cost pass-through under the carbon emission trading policy: Evidence from Chinese metal industrial chain.

TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper applied the difference-in-difference model to explore the effects of carbon emission trading on chain reactions of corporate activities, showing that midstream firms accelerate capital deepening in response to CET and become more capital-intensive, but gain losses of outputs both in revenue and in quantity, accompanying cost pass-through to downstream firms, which are all contributed by the external pressure imposed by stakeholders and internal incentive from senior managers.

Green Total Factor Productivity and Its Saving Effect on the Green Factor in China’s Strategic Minerals Industry from 1998–2017

TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper employed truncated third-order translog cost function and the feasible generalized least squares (FGLS) approach to evaluate the GTFP growth performance and its components in China's strategic minerals industry from 1998 to 2017.

Green-Biased Technical Change and Its Influencing Factors of Agriculture Industry: Empirical Evidence at the Provincial Level in China

TL;DR: Zhang et al. as discussed by the authors used the DEA-SBM model and Malmquist-Luenberger index decomposition method to calculate the green-biased technical change (BTC) index in Chinese agriculture, and investigated the influence mechanism of BTC by using the panel data regression analysis approach.

A Contribution to the Theory of Economic Growth

TL;DR: In this paper, a model of long run growth is proposed and examples of possible growth patterns are given. But the model does not consider the long run of the economy and does not take into account the characteristics of interest and wage rates.

Why Do New Technologies Complement Skills? Directed Technical Change and Wage Inequality

TL;DR: The authors suggests that the rapid increase in the proportion of college graduates in the United States labor force in 1970s may have been a causal factor in both the decline in the college premium during the 1970s and the large increase in inequality during the 1980s.
