Advances in electrochromic device technology : Multiple roads towards superior durability

TL;DR: In this article, the authors survey recent efforts related to electrochromic films of W oxide and Ni oxide and show that electrochemical pretreatment of films in a liquid electrolyte can significantly improve durability, electrochemical posttreatment can rejuvenate degraded films, mixed oxides can have better durability, and lifetime prediction is possible.

Global non-linear effect of temperature on economic production

TL;DR: Overall economic productivity is non-linear in temperature for all countries, with productivity peaking at an annual average temperature of 13 °C and declining strongly at higher temperatures, which provides the first evidence that economic activity in all regions is coupled to the global climate.
