TLDR
In this paper, the electronic spectra of C70 anions were observed in γ-irradiated methylcyclohexane and MTHF glasses at 77 K. The values of ϵG obtained are 265±40, 230±45 and 217±45 M−1 cm−1 at 1386, 1377 and 1184 nm, respectively.

Photoinduced electron transfer from phthalocyanines to fullerenes (C60 and C70)

TL;DR: In this paper, photoinduced electron transfer between fullerenes (C60 and C70) and phthalocyanines such as tetra-tert-butylphthalocyanine (H2TBPc) and its zinc derivative (ZnTBPC) in solution has been investigated with nanosecond laser photolysis method by observing the transient absorption bands in the visible/near-IR regions.

Electron Transfer from Tetrathiafulvalenes to Photoexcited C70 Studied by Observing Transient Absorption in the Near-IR Region

TL;DR: In this paper, the photoinduced electron transfer between C70 and tetrathiafulvalene or bis(ethylenedithio)tetrathylfvalene in polar and nonpolar solvents and their mixture has been investigated by nanosecond laser photolysis/transient absorption spectroscopy in the visible and near-IR regions.

Photoinduced electron transfer of fullerenes (C60 and C70) studied by transient absorption measurements in near-IR region

TL;DR: In this article, the quantum yield for electron transfer via the triplet states Φct T was evaluated by the ratio of [C60 −+]/[TC60 *] (or [C70 −+)/[ TC70 *]), depending upon the donor-ability, donor concentration, and solvent polarity.

Near-IR and ESR studies of the radical anions of C60 and C70 in the system fullerene-primary amine

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown by near-IR that the anion radicals C 70 − and C 70 2- are formed in vacuum by interaction between the fullerenes C 70 and 1-amino-3-propanol (AP) and 1,5-diaminopentane (DAP).

Photoinduced electron transfer between metal octaethylporphyrins and fullerenes (C60/C70) studied by laser flash photolysis: electron-mediating and hole-shifting cycles

TL;DR: In this paper, the electron transfer processes of fullerenes (C60/C70) with metal octaethylporphyrins (MOEP) in a polar solvent have been investigated by a nanosecond laser photolysis technique in the visible/near-IR regions.

Electronic absorption spectra of the radical anions and cations of fullerenes: C60 and C70

TL;DR: In this article, the electronic absorption spectra of the radical ions in the title are observed in γ-irradiated glassy polyatomic matrices at 77 K. The spectral features of all the radical ion are consistent with the available information in the literature which includes photoelectron and resonance Raman spectra.

Near-IR absorption spectra for the C70 fullerene anions

TL;DR: In this paper, a first-order explanation of the energies and intensities of the various spectral absorptions of neutral C70 anions is proposed based on the published molecular orbital diagram for neutral C 70 and a structural distortion that occurs upon reduction of C7O.
