Enthalpy–entropy compensation for the solubility of drugs in solvent mixtures: Paracetamol, acetanilide, and nalidixic acid in dioxane–water

TLDR
The behavior of the apparent thermodynamic magnitudes for the solubility of paracetamol, acetanilide, and nalidixic acid is studied and suggests that the nonlinear enthalpy-entropy compensation effect may be characteristic of the solubsility of semipolar drugs in dioxane-water mixtures.

Solubility and preferential solvation of indomethacin in 1,4-dioxane+water solvent mixtures

TL;DR: In this paper, the solubility of indomethacin (IMC) in 1,4-dioxane+water cosolvent mixtures was determined at several temperatures, 293.15-313.15 K. The authors used van't Hoff and Gibbs equations to obtain the thermodynamic functions: Gibbs energy, enthalpy, and entropy of solution and of mixing.

On the preferential solvation of drugs and PAHs in binary solvent mixtures

TL;DR: In this paper, the preferential solvation parameters, i.e., the differences between the local and bulk mole fractions of the solvents in solutions of certain drugs and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), are derived from their solubilities in binary solvent mixtures by means of the inverse Kirkwood-Buff integral (IKBI) and the quasi-lattice quasi-chemical (QLQC) methods.

Solubility of Carvedilol in Ethanol + Propylene Glycol Mixtures at Various Temperatures

TL;DR: In this paper, the solubility of carvedilol in ethanol and propylene glycol mixtures at various temperatures was investigated and the results showed that carvedilols are solubile in both types of mixtures.

Phase Transition Enthalpy Measurements of Organic and Organometallic Compounds. Sublimation, Vaporization and Fusion Enthalpies From 1880 to 2015. Part 1. C1-C10

TL;DR: A compendium of phase change enthalpies including fusion, vaporization, and sublimation was published in 2010 as mentioned in this paper, which included organic, organometallic, and a few inorganic compounds.
