TLDR
In this paper, the results of Finney minimum variance unbiased estimators, τ, of parametric functions of the type are established, and expressions for the variance of τ and an unbiased estimator of the variance are obtained.Abstract:
Let Y = ey where the usual assumptions of the general linear models: y = Xa+u, u ∼ N(0, σ2 I) are made. Extending the results of Finney minimum variance unbiased estimators, τ, of parametric functions of the type are established. Expressions for the variance of τ and an unbiased estimator of the variance are obtained. The results are in terms of functions whose numerical values are tabulated.read more

Smearing Estimate: A Nonparametric Retransformation Method
TL;DR: The smearing estimate as discussed by the authors is a nonparametric estimate of the expected response on the untransformed scale after fitting a linear regression model on a transformed scale, which is consistent under mild regularity conditions, and usually attains high efficiency relative to parametric estimates.

Regional interpretation of water‐quality monitoring data
TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe a method for using spatially referenced regressions of contaminant transport on watershed attributes (SPARROW) in regional water quality assessment. But the method is designed to reduce the problems of data interpretation caused by sparse sampling, network bias, and basin heterogeneity.

Estimating constituent loads
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors compared the bias and variance of three procedures that can be used with log linear regression models: the traditional rating curve estimator, a modified rating curve method, and a minimum variance unbiased estimator (MVUE).

Indices of Relative Abundance from Fish Spotter Data based on Delta-Lognornial Models
TL;DR: Fish spotters are pilots in small aircraft employed by commercial fishermen to locate, identify, estimate the size of, and direct boats toward pelagic fish schools.
