Journal ArticleDOI
Tomato and salinity
TL;DR: The effects of salinity on tomato plant growth and fruit production, the cultural techniques which can be applied to alleviate the deleterious effects of salt, and the possibilities of breeding salt-tolerant tomatoes are reviewed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Tomato yield and quality as affected by nitrogen source and salinity

Pyraclostrobin can mitigate salinity stress in tomato crop
F. Boari,Vito Cantore,Donato Di Venere,L. Sergio,Vincenzo Candido,Maria Immacolata Schiattone +5 more
TL;DR: Investigation of the ability of PBF to improve gas exchange parameters, chlorophyll, activity of antioxidative enzymes, yield characteristics, and water use efficiency of tomato under salinity concluded that its use should be promoted in defence programs of tomato crop, above all in areas with salinity problems.
