Experimental investigation on dynamic failure of water-filled vessel subjected to projectile impact

TLDR
In this paper, a series of experiments were performed to study the deformation and failure of fluid-filled vessel subjected to high speed impact loading, and the results indicated that the hydrodynamic ram effect in the water-filled tank increased the damage of the target panels.

Experimental analysis of an attenuation method for Hydrodynamic Ram effects

TL;DR: In this paper, honeycomb panels are used to fill the entire space inside the structure in such a way that they are able to alleviate the loading onto it, which is the most dangerous phenomenon in the studied cases.
