TLDR
The equations of dynamics were put into a general form by Lagrange, who expressed them in terms of a set of generalized coordinates and velocities as discussed by the authors, and an alternative general form was later given by Hamilton, in the form of coordinates and momenta.
Abstract
1. Introduction. The equations of dynamics were put into a general form by Lagrange, who expressed them in terms of a set of generalized coordinates and velocities. An alternative general form was later given by Hamilton, in terms of coordinates and momenta. Let us consider the relative merits of the two forms.

Is the Copenhagen interpretation inapplicable to Quantum Cosmology

TL;DR: In this paper, the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum cosmology is interpreted in the spirit of the Everett's ''relative states' formulation, while there is no contradiction between the ''relative state' formulation and the mentioned basic principles of the ''Copenham interpretation''.

Hamiltonian, Path Integral and BRST Formulations of the Vector Schwinger Model with a Photon Mass Term with Faddeevian Regularization

TL;DR: In this article, the Stueckelberg mechanism was used to recover the physical content of the original gauge-non-invariant (GNI) theory from the newly constructed GI theory under some special gauge-choice.

Tracing KAM tori in presymplectic dynamical systems

TL;DR: In this paper, a KAM theorem for presymplectic dynamical systems is presented, where the authors show that given a Diophantine frequency and a family of mappings, if we find an embedded torus which is approximately invariant with rotation, such that the torus and the mappings satisfy some explicit non-degeneracy condition, then we can find a value of the parameter close to to the original ones.

Offshell quantum electrodynamics

TL;DR: In this article, the quantum field theory of off-shell electromagnetism is used to calculate the Moller scattering cross-section, which leads to qualitative deviations from the usual scattering crosssections, but may be visible at small angles near the forward direction.

Renormalization and Coarse-graining of Loop Quantum Gravity

TL;DR: In this article, a coarse-graining approach for diffeomorphism invariant theories of hyperbolic tetrahedra has been proposed to find large scale observables.

Forms of Relativistic Dynamics

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors combine the restricted principle of relativity with the hamiltonian formulation of dynamics, which leads to the appearance of ten fundamental quantities for each dynamical system, namely the total energy, the total momentum and the 6-vector which has three components equal to the total angular momentum.

Homogeneous variables in classical dynamics

TL;DR: The well-known methods of classical mechanics, based on the use of a Lagrangian or Hamiltonian function, are adequate for the treatment of nearly all dynamical systems met with in practice.
