TLDR
The formation of gibberellic acid in single‐stage continuous cultures was studied and the rate of formation, calculated on the basis of mycelial nitrogen, was comparable with the highest values reported for batch cultures.
Abstract
The formation of gibberellic acid in single-stage continuous cultures was studied. Stirred fermenters of 3 and 20-l. working volumes were used. Maximum output of gibberellic acid was obtained at a holding time of 200 hr. The rate of formation, calculated on the basis of mycelial nitrogen, was comparable with the highest values reported for batch cultures.

The kinetics of metabolism of gibberella fujikuroi in stirred culture

TL;DR: Some aspects are described of the kinetics of the growth of Gibberella fujikuroi in nitrogen-limited media containing either ammonium nitrate, ammonium acetate, ammonia tartrate, urea, or glycine, and the significance of kinetic parameters used in this, and published studies, is discussed.

Studies of the growth of penicillium chrysogenum in continuous flow culture with reference to penicillin production

TL;DR: A filamentous mould was cultured by the continuous flow method in which medium is supplied at a constant rate and the culture volume is kept constant, and therefore the mould had a constant doubling time.
