In the case of a hollow shaft (1) with a permanently connected flange (2) composed of a material with a higher shear modulus than the material of the hollow shaft, the flange has a tubular stub (3) which is pushed into the hollow shaft (1) with the interposition of a layer (4) of adhesive. To relieve the load on the end region - critical in terms of strength - of this layer (4) of adhesive at the end of the tubular stub, one half of a bush (6) is seated in the tubular stub (3) and the other half is seated in the hollow shaft (1), with the interposition of a layer (5) of adhesive, the material chosen for the bush (6) having a shear modulus which is less than that of the material of the tubular stub (3) or permanently connected flange (2) and greater than that of the material of the hollow shaft (1).read more

Abstract: Die Erfindung betrifft eine Aufprallenergie absorbierende Antriebswelle fur ein Motorfahrzeug, mit einer zylindrischen Hohlwelle (1) aus faserverstarktem Kunststoff und einem an der zylindrischen Hohlwelle (1) angeordneten Aufprallenergie absorbierenden System (4, 5), bei dem ein Krafteinleitungsanschluss (6, 7) einen Anschlussflansch und einen zylindrischen Abschnitt (6a, 7a) aufweist, ein zum Anschlussflansch distales Ende (6b, 7b) des zylindrischen Abschnitts (6a, 7a) in ein Ende (10, 11) der zylindrischen Hohlwelle (1) eingefuhrt ist und ein zum Anschlussflansch proximales Ende des zylindrischen Abschnitts (6a, 7a) aus der zylindrischen Hohlwelle (1) herausragt, welcher bei einem Aufprall unter teilweiser Absorption der Aufprallenergie entgegen einer Widerstandskraft zumindest teilweise axial in die zylindrische Hohlwelle (1) hinein verschiebbar ist. Auf dem distalen Ende (6b, 7b) des zylindrischen Abschnitts (6a, 7a) ist eine zylindrische Hulse (8, 9) angeordnet, die mittels einer ersten Fugeverbindung an dem zylindrischen Abschnitt (6a, 7a) und mittels einer zweiten Fugeverbindung in dem Ende (10, 11) der zylindrischen Hohlwelle (1) montiert ist.
