Estas criticas apuntan a las consecuencias del mejoramiento cognitivo en terceros y en los agentes, asi como en valores independientes. De acuerdo al articulo estas criticas no son convincentes. Por el contrario, bajo ciertos supuestos se argumenta que hay buenas razones a favor del acceso libre al mejoramiento cognitivo.
