In this article, a one-dimensional heterogeneous mathematical model for steam methane reforming (SMR) coupled with water gas shift (WGS) over an 18-wt. % NiO/α-Al 2 O 3 catalyst is presented in the temperature range of 300-700°C at 1 bar.
