Measuring the External Costs of Fuel Cycles in Developing Countries

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a dose-response function to estimate the relationship between the energy outputs and the environmental impacts of fuel cycles, which is referred to as the doseresponse function, which can be fairly simple (linking the pollutant to the measured variable of interest) or very complex, with the dependent variable being the probability of losing a work day, as a function of age, occupation, pollution levels of more than one pollutant, relative humidity etc.
