The amenity value of the British climate

TL;DR: This article explored the amenity value of climate to households in Britain and found that it is the housing market that mainly compensates for climate amenities, rather than the climate amenities themselves, and the relationship between property prices and climate has an inverted u-shape.

Real Options Premia Implied from Recent Transactions in the Greek Real Estate Market

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined the empirical predictions of a real option-pricing model on market values from the realty market of a Euro area country, namely Greece, and demonstrated that, a model which incorporates the option to wait to develop land has explanatory power on observed prices over and above the intrinsic value from a simple discounted cash flow approach.
