Approximating WTP and WTA for environmental goods from marginal willingness to pay functions
TL;DR: In this paper, a simple method of approximating WTP and WTA given the information about the marginal willingness to pay (MWTP) for it is presented. But it is not shown that a polynomial based on the MWTP function allows to approximate the Hicksian measures (which may differ considerably) much better than consumer's surplus in quantity space.

Spatial Transferability of Hedonic House Price Functions
TL;DR: McArthur et al. as discussed by the authors investigated whether it is possible to use parameter estimates from a hedonic function estimated in one region to make reliable predictions in another region, and concluded that predictions made using transferred spatial structure parameters were equivalent given the chosen tolerance level.
