Journal ArticleDOI
The microwave spectrum of piperidine: Equatorial and axial ground states
TL;DR: In this paper, the microwave spectra of piperidine and N-deuterated Piperidine were investigated between 8 and 40 GHz and the ground states of both equatorial and axial conformers were identified by both type-A and type-C transitions, and the substitution coordinates of the imino hydrogen have been determined for both conformers.
Journal ArticleDOI
The Molecular Structure of Morpholine and the Morpholine–H2O Complex Determined by FT Microwave Spectroscopy
TL;DR: The rotational spectrum of the morpholine-H2O complex was measured and assigned using a Balle-Flygare type FT microwave spectrometer, and a N ellipsis H-O hydrogen-bonded structure was found to be consistent with the derived molecular parameters.
Journal ArticleDOI
Centrifugal Distortion Effects in The Microwave Spectrum of Thiomorpholine
TL;DR: In this article, a first order distortion analysis was carried out on the equatorial form of normal thiomorpholine (CH2-CH 2-S-CH2 -S, CH2-NH) and the obtained frequencies combined with the low J transitions were used to determine the Watson's distortion constants.
Journal ArticleDOI
The centrifugal distortion constants for the molecule of thiane
TL;DR: In this paper, the microwave spectrum of thiane has been studied in the 8- to 18-GHz region and rotational lines of the ground vibrational state with J up to 41 have been measured and assigned.

Determination of Centrifugal Distortion Coefficients of Asymmetric‐Top Molecules
TL;DR: In this article, the rotational Hamiltonian of an asymmetric-top molecule in a given vibrational state, obtained by the usual vibrational perturbation treatment, is transformed by means of a unitary transformation to a reduced Hamiltonian which is suitable for fitting to observed energies.
Journal ArticleDOI
On the calculation and interpretation of centrifugal distortion constants: A statistical basis for model testing: The calculation of the force field
TL;DR: In this article, the relationship between the distortion parameters and the force field for XYZ-type molecules is reviewed in order to remove ambiguities and inconsistencies presently found in the literature, and procedures for exploiting the statistics associated with a least square analysis of the data are presented as a guide for model testing and for detecting misassignments and mismeasurements.

Microwave spectrum of morpholine
J. J. Sloan,R. Kewley +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the microwave spectra of morpholine and N-deuteromorpholine have been investigated within the 8 to 40 GHz region, and strong a-type spectra which are due to the chair conformer with an equatorial imino group were recorded.
The microwave spectrum of morpholine.
J. J. Sloan,R. Kewley +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a method to solve the problem of protein synthesis in the context of chemistry, which is similar to our work in terms of chemistry education and research.
