Experimental Study on the Influence of Gravitational Tilt Angle on the Spatio-Temporal Evolution of Solutocapillary Convection

TL;DR: In this article , the authors investigated the influence of surface internal energy instability caused by the gravitational tilt angle on solutocapillary convection, and they showed that the spatio-temporal evolution of convection in a non-axisymmetric liquid bridge was divided into three stages under different gravitational tilt angles, "the initiating stage near the upper corner", "development to the intermediate height", and "shrinking toward the bottom corner".

Extreme low-temperature freezing process and characteristic curve of icy lunar regolith simulant

TL;DR: In this article , the freezing process and characteristics of icy lunar regolith are studied based on the variation of the T2 spectrum, and the influence of initial water content and dry density of the samples on variation rules of unfrozen water content with temperature was discussed.

Dynamic response characteristics of flame during condition transition in a cavity-based scramjet combustor

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors investigated the dynamic response characteristics of the flame when global equivalence ratio increases suddenly during the condition transition in a cavity-based scramjet combustor, and three flame modes after condition transition have been observed and analyzed according to the transient chemiluminescence image captured by high-speed photography.

Evaluation of craters formation in hypervelocity impact of debris particles on solid structures

TL;DR: In this paper, a simplified model of space debris particle collision on solid structures was developed, which would provide closed form solution formulas for determining crater depth, radius and ejected mass being functions of impactor mass, speed and material of both impactor and target.
