$N=1$ Formulation of General $N=2$ {Yang-Mills} Supergravity Couplings

TLDR
In this article, the N = 2 scalar potential of the complex scalar fields in the adjoint representation, superpartners of the Yang-Mills gauge fields, splits into a conventional gauge contribution as well as in a superpotential term contribution proportional to the SO(2) gauge coupling of N =2 de Sitter supergravity.

Geometric engineering of quantum field theories

TL;DR: In this paper, a local geometric realization of quantum field theories together with a local application of mirror symmetry is proposed to reduce non-trivial quantum field theory results to much better understood T -dualities of type 11 strings.
Journal ArticleDOI

Lagrangians of N = 2 supergravity-matter systems

TL;DR: In this article, explicit expressions for general actions of vector and scalar multiplets coupled to N = 2 supergravity are presented, which are based on the superconformal tensor calculus.
Journal ArticleDOI

Vector multiplets coupled to N=2 supergravity: Super-Higgs effect, flat potentials and geometric structure

TL;DR: In this article, general properties of N = 2 gauged extended supergravity coupled to vector multiplets are derived, and the scalar potential of the theory which determines the classical vacuum structure is investigated.

Peter Mayr
- 15 Jan 2001 -
TL;DR: In this article, the authors use string duality to describe instanton induced spontaneous supersymmetry breaking in string compactifications with additional background fields, which can be explicitly calculated by geometric methods.

Supersymmetry and Supergravity

TL;DR: The second edition of this book appeared in 1983 and was based on a series of lectures given at Princeton in 1983 by Julius Wess as discussed by the authors, where the authors presented a general supersymmetric gauge invariant theory of chiral fields interacting with supergravity.

Supersymmetry and Kahler Manifolds

Bruno Zumino
- 05 Nov 1979 -
TL;DR: The supersymmetric extension of non-linear models with scalar fields taking values in a complex Kahler manifold was given in this paper, which is simple for four-dimensional Minkowski space, complex for two-dimensional space-time.
Journal ArticleDOI

Matter couplings in N = 2 supergravity

TL;DR: In this article, the general coupling of an arbitrary number of massless pin (0, 1 2 ) multiplets to N = 2 supergravity has been determined, and it is shown that the matter coupling has a natural description in the language of the supersymmetric non-linear sigma model.
Journal ArticleDOI

Extended Supersymmetry and Gauge Theories

TL;DR: In this article, a formulation of gauge theories with an extended supersymmetry for N = 2 is given in terms of superfields and component fields as well as the Lagrangian.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fermi-Bose Hypersymmetry

TL;DR: In this paper, a new algebra combining supersymmetry and internal symmetry is presented, combining a massless vector hypermultiplet with an isodoublet of left-handed Dirac spinors and a complex scalar.
