Observer design for a three-tank system

TLDR
In this article, state observers are designed for the benchmark of a three-tank water process and it is shown that based on single or double measurements the missing water level can be reconstructed.

Basic integrated modelling : a case study

TL;DR: A control lab experiment is presented where the key issue is the modelling of a coupled tank system using a suitable combination of phenomenological knowledge and basic least-squares techniques.

A simple observer for nonlinear systems applications to bioreactors

TL;DR: In this paper, an observer for nonlinear systems is constructed under rather general technical assumptions (the fact that some functions are globally Lipschitz) and a tentative application to biological systems is described.

Observability and Observers for Nonlinear Systems

TL;DR: In this paper, observability and observers for general nonlinear systems were studied and a non-control-affine observer for the nonlinear system was presented. And an exponential observer for these systems was also exhibited.

Observer design based on triangular form generated by injective map

TL;DR: Based on the triangular form a method is developed for designing nonlinear state observers and an injective map as a generalized coordinate change for triangular form transformation is provided.

Observer-Based Strategies for Fault Diagnosis in a Three-Tank System

TL;DR: In this article, a non-linear observer-based approach to fault detection and isolation of the benchmark of a three-tank system is proposed. But the authors focus on the nonlinear observer approach and do not consider the fault detection in the benchmark.
