Physical Parameters Related to Quantify Quality of Effectiveness of Charged Particles at Lower Doses

TLDR
In this paper, the quality factors for protons and helium particles for cell inactivation using linear energy transfer were determined for V79 cells, and the quality has also been investigated as a function for other physical parameters, such as mean free path and effective charge for the particles.

Eco-hydrologic stability zonation of dams and power plants using the combined models of SMCE and CEQUALW2

TL;DR: In this paper, a study was conducted to determine the stable and instable eco-hydrologic regions in the study area and the results indicated that most of the areas had not a suitable condition in terms of stability at the downstream reaches.

Relative biological effectiveness(RBE), quality factor(Q), and radiation weighting factor(WR)

Jack Valentin
- 01 Dec 2003 -
TL;DR: The effect of ionising radiation is influenced by the dose, the dose rate, and the quality of the radiation as mentioned in this paper, which is the main objective of the present report, as well as the underlying relative biological effectiveness (RBE) values.
