Classic and Heuristic Approaches in Robot Motion Planning A Chronological Review
TL;DR: This paper reviews the major contributions to the Motion Planning field throughout a 35-year period, from classic approaches to heuristic algorithms, and concludes with comparative tables and graphs demonstrating the frequency of each MP method’s application.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Using genetic alghoritm for distributed generation allocation to reduce losses and improve voltage profile
TL;DR: In this paper, an optimal distributed generation allocation for voltage profile improvement and loss reduction in distribution network Genetic Algorithm (GA) was used as the solving tool, which referred two determined aim; the problem is defined and objective function is introduced Considering to fitness values sensitivity in genetic algorithm process, there is needed to apply load flow for decision-making Load flow algorithm is combined appropriately with GA, till access to acceptable results of this operation.

Moment Invariants in Image Analysis
TL;DR: This paper aims to present a survey of object recognition/classification methods based on image moments and moment-based invariants with respect to various image degradations and distortions which can be used as shape descriptors for classification.
Journal Article
Dynamic Load Balancing Strategy for Grid Computing
Belabbas Yagoubi,Yahya Slimani +1 more
TL;DR: This paper proposes a layered algorithm which achieve dynamic load balancing in grid computing using a tree model and presents the following main features: it is layered; it supports heterogeneity and scalability; and it is totally independent from any physical architecture of a grid.
