Quantitative Determination of Slightly Soluble Salts by Means of Ion Exchange

TLDR
An ion exchange method for the quantitative determination of slightly soluble salts has been described, requiring little technical skill on the part of the operator and permits a considerable saving of time.
Abstract
An ion exchange method for the quantitative determination of slightly soluble salts has been described. The procedure, which has been aplied to a number of chemicals and to two tablet preparations, gives reproducigle and reliable results. It has the further advantage of requiring little technical skill on the part of the operator and permits a considerable saving of time.

Approaches to sample preparation for ion chromatography sulfate precipitation on barium-form ion exchangers

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors explore the chemical processes involved in the precipitation of sulfate with barium, their effects on analyte recovery and the completeness of the sulfate removal, and the implications for use of barium-form ion exchange devices for removing sulfate from samples.

Determination of Refractory Metals in Ferrous Alloys and High-Alloy Steel by the Borax Disk X-Ray Spectrochemical Method.

C. L. Luke
- 01 Jan 1963 -
TL;DR: X-ray spectrochemical methods were developed for the determination of Mo, W, Nb, and Ta in heat-resisting and corrosion-resistant alloys and of Mo and W in high-alloy steel as mentioned in this paper.

Anion determination in damage layers of stone monuments

TL;DR: In this paper, an analytical procedure was set up for the dissolution of damage layers from stone monuments with the aim of performing ion chromatography analyses, which was performed using ion exchange resin H-form and two serial detectors (conductometer and spectrophotometer).

Alkalimetric titration of phosphoric acid and phosphates

TL;DR: In this paper, a method of removing the disturbing metallic ions with the aid of a cation exchanger was found to be the solution, but without ultimate success, to exclude disturbing fluoride and silicofluoride.
