Robust output-feedback design using a new class of nonlinear observers

TLDR
In this article, the robustness of nonlinear observer design was analyzed for uncertainties in the nonlinearities, and bounds were given within which the observer error gradually increases with an increase in the uncertainty.
Abstract
Analyzes the robustness of a nonlinear observer design introduced previously by the authors. For uncertainties in the nonlinearities, bounds are given within which the observer error gradually increases with an increase in the uncertainty. For dynamic modeling errors, a robust output-feedback design is developed using ISS small-gain tools. A jet engine compressor example is used to illustrate the design.

Output feedback control design for ship's course keeping nonlinear system based on state observer

TL;DR: In this paper, a full-order state observer design method is presented based on this, and the parameters of the observer are computed by Matlab LMI toolbox, which can be used to design the output feedback controller for the ship's course-keeping systems and global boundedness of all the states of the system can be guaranteed.
