Influence of form of selenium supplementation and tall fescue endophyte toxicity on growth performance, serum parameters, and tissue masses of grazing beef steers

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors used SAS to test the effect of ad libitum intake of vitamin-mineral mixes (V-M) that contain 27 ppm Se as a 1:1 blend of SELPLEX:sodium selenite (MIX) vs. ISe (ISe).

Investigation of Selcote Ultra Fertilizer Different Rates on Selenium Concentration in Alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.) in order to Satisfy Selenium Requirement

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of different levels of selcote ultra fertilizer and farm yard manure on the concentration of selenium in alfalfa in order to achieve optimum concentration in this plant was studied.

Differentially Expressed Genes and Signalling Pathways Regulated by High Selenium Involved in Antioxidant and Immune Functions of Goats Based on Transcriptome Sequencing

TL;DR: In this article , the effect of high selenium on the antioxidant and immune functions of growing goats based on transcriptome sequencing was observed, and the results indicated that HS treatment significantly increased the apparent digestibility of either extract and significantly increased (p < 0.05) total antioxidant capacity, whereas it significantly decreased plasma aspartate aminotransferase and malondialdehyde relative to the control group.
