A variable-speed, sensorless, induction motor drive using DC link measurements
Sanjay Bodkhe,Mohan V. Aware +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a new control strategy for three-phase induction motor which includes independent speed and torque control loops and the current regulation, which can overcome the limitation (i.e. sluggish response) of volts per hertz controlled industrial drives.

Direct torque control for Linear Induction Motor
TL;DR: In order to insure a high transient behavior of the drive and to avoid the draw back of the parametric perturbations in the implemented control, the direct torque control is considered in this work.

MRAS-ANN based sensorless speed control for direct torque controlled induction motor drive
TL;DR: This paper presents speed sensorless direct torque control (DTC) of induction motor using Artificial intelligence (AI) and the artificial neural network (ANN) MRAS-based speed estimation is used.

Non-Holonomy in Induction Machine Torque Control
TL;DR: In this brief, induction machine (IM) torque control is studied as an example of a 3-D non-holonomic integrator including drift terms, and a control structure is proposed that provides simultaneous modulation of both the amplitude and the frequency of the sinusoidal stator current vector.

Local weak observability conditions of sensorless AC drives
TL;DR: In this paper, the observability of both induction machine and synchronous machine sensorless drives is analyzed. But, the observer-based sensorless techniques are known for their deteriorated performance in some operating conditions, and an observability analysis of the machines helps understanding and improving the observer's behavior in the aforementioned conditions.
