Abstract
An electrochemical cell electrode such as the cathode element for a high energy density battery cell and its fabrication sequence are disclosed. Material such as finely-divided carbon particles is dispersed over the electrode surface during an ultrasonic energy assisted wet spraying process which produces very thin electrodes that are also low in fabrication cost and increased in uniformity and energy density capability. Fine particle material deposition on both a metal foil electrode and on an insulating member that is later joined to a metal foil electrode are contemplated.

Small particle electrodes by aerosol process

TL;DR: In this paper, a method for preparing an electrode is provided including generating aerosol droplets of a precursor capable of being converted into a component of an electrode in a carrier liquid, converting the droplets into precursor particles; converting the precursor particles into particles of the electrode component; and depositing the electrode components onto an electrically conductive substrate.

Thermal sprayed electrodes

TL;DR: In this paper, a method for the synthesis of an electrode was proposed, which consisted of coating an active material feedstock with an additive material suitable for preventing thermal decomposition of said feedstock during thermal spray, thermal spraying the coated feedstock onto a substrate for an electrode, thereby forming a coating on the substrate and thereby providing an electrode.

Process for coating a photoresist composition onto a substrate

TL;DR: In this article, a process for applying a film of uniform thickness of photoresist solids onto a substrate comprising the steps of: (a) forming a liquid photoreist composition comprising photoreists in a solvent; the solids content of said photoresists composition being in the range from about 10% by weight to about 22% by body weight; (b) forming atomized spray droplets of said liquid photoresisting composition; allowing said atomized spraying droplets to settle by gravity onto the substrate surface, thereby forming a photoreistor coating on that surface;
