Increasing surface ozone concentrations in the background atmosphere of Southern China, 1994–2007

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors report the first continuous record of surface ozone in the background atmosphere of South China, which was obtained from 1994 to 2007 at a coastal site in Hong Kong, which is strongly influenced by the outflow of Asian continental air during the winter and the inflow of maritime air from the subtropics in the summer.

30 Years of Multidimensional Multivariate Visualization

TL;DR: A survey of multidimensional multivariate visualization techniques developed during the last three decades, roughly organized into four stages, within which major milestones are discussed.

Fundamentals of Forensic DNA Typing

TL;DR: The basic principles of Forensic DNA Typing and its applications in medicine, science and research are studied.
Journal ArticleDOI

Thermal-alkaline solubilization of waste activated sludge as a pre-treatment stage for anaerobic digestion.

TL;DR: This work studied the hydrolysis kinetics and the solubilization of waste activated sludge under a medium range temperature and pH in the alkaline region as a pretreatment stage for anaerobic digestion, leading to a satisfactory correlation between the Hydrolysis rate coefficient, pH, and temperature.
