Straw bale based constructions: Measurement of effective thermal transport properties

TLDR
In this paper, a transient plane source technique was used to measure the thermal transport properties of rice straw bale sample. And the results showed that the effective thermal conductivity values obtained in the case of perpendicular/random orientation are approximately 1.7 times lower compared to parallel case.
