Study of Pt-promoted cobalt CO hydrogenation catalysts

TLDR
In this article, the influence of small amounts of Pt on supported Co catalysts has been investigated by several methods, and it was shown that Pt-promoted catalysts were 3-5 times higher than those on their unpromoted analogues.

On the origin of the cobalt particle size effects in Fischer-Tropsch catalysis.

TL;DR: The origin of the cobalt particle size effects in Fischer-Tropsch (FT) catalysis was studied and the surface-specific activity (TOF) quantitatively and the CH(4) selectivity qualitatively as a function of Co particle size for the FT reaction was studied.
Journal ArticleDOI

Pore Size Effects in Fischer Tropsch Synthesis over Cobalt-Supported Mesoporous Silicas

TL;DR: Pore size effects on Fischer Tropsch reaction rates and selectivities over cobalt catalysts were studied at atmospheric pressure using periodic (SBA-15 and MCM-41) and commercial mesoporous silicas as catalytic supports as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fischer–Tropsch synthesis over γ-alumina-supported cobalt catalysts: Effect of support variables

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of γ -Al 2 O 3 support variables on Fischer-Tropsch synthesis activity and selectivity was carried out at industrially relevant conditions (T = 483 K, P = 20 bar, H 2 / CO = 2.1 ).

Cobalt particle size effects in Fischer–Tropsch synthesis: structural and in situ spectroscopic characterisation on reverse micelle-synthesised Co/ITQ-2 model catalysts

TL;DR: In this article, a series of 10%Co/ITQ-2 model catalysts have been prepared by combining a reverse micellar synthesis with a surface silylated ITQ 2 delaminated zeolite.
