TL;DR: This paper examined the different ways in which unemployment creates deprivation, and what implications these issues have on the relative merits of American and European attitudes respectively to individual responsibility and social commitment, and found that unemployment causes deprivation in many other ways as well.

Integrated employment or sheltered workshops: Preferences of adults with intellectual disabilities, their families, and staff

TL;DR: Findings show that the majority of respondents would either like employment outside sheltered workshops or at least consider it an option, and the preference for employment outside of workshops is not associated with the severity of the disability.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors search for individual differences in response to job-loss using Latent Growth Mixture Modeling (LGMM) framework and find that the majority of individuals demonstrate no long-term effects on life satisfaction.
