Spatially-separated synchronised clocks in the same inertial frame: Time dilatation, but no relativity of simultaneity or length contraction
TL;DR: In this article, the Lorentz transformation is used to analyse space and time coordinates corresponding to two spatially-separated clocks in the same inertial frame, and the time dilatation effect is confirmed, but not'relativity of simultaneity' or'relativistic length contraction'.
Journal ArticleDOI
Relativistic recoil and the railgun
J. E. Allen,T. V. Jones +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that the concept of electromagnetic momentum can be used to calculate the force acting on the projectile in a railgun, thereby refuting some recent papers on the subject.
Journal ArticleDOI
Phantom Accretion onto the Schwarzschild AdS Black Hole with Topological Defect
Ali R. Amani,H. Farahani +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors studied the phantom energy accretion of prefect fluid onto the Schwarzschild AdS black hole with topological defect and obtained critical point during the accretion on the black hole where the speed of flow is equal speed of sound.
Journal ArticleDOI
Relativistic Derivations of de Broglie and Planck-Einstein Equations
TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that there is a way to relate the energy and the momentum of a corpuscle with the characteristics of a plane wave, frequency and wave vector, if the momentum has to flow in the same direction of the wave propagation.

Historical note on relativistic theories of electromagnetism
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a review of recent advances in the Weinberg 2(2J + 1) formalism (which is built on First Principles) and in the Majorana theory of neutral particles, which may serve as starting points for constructing a quantum theory of light.
