- Vol. 26, Iss: 7, pp 1157-1163
TLDR
The stoicheiometry of the thermal dissociation reaction was determined in this article, where the loss of ammonia, forming stable lower ammines, and upon further heating, the reduction of the copper(II) to copper(I) took place.

4-, 5- and 6-coordinate complexes of copper(II) with substituted imidazoles

TL;DR: Several new complexes of copper(II) halides, isothiocyanate, perchlorate, sulphate and nitrate with a series of 1-substituted, 2-substantituted and 1,2-disubstitized imidazoles were synthesized and characterised in this paper, where microanalytical data, conductivity, magnetic susceptibility, IR and electronic spectral measurements were employed to deduce the possible stereochemistry.

Sodium sulfate activation mechanism on co-sulfating roasting to nickel-copper sulfide concentrate in metal extractions, microtopography and kinetics

TL;DR: In this article, a two-stage co-sulfating roasting process was used to selectively extract valuable metals from Chinese nickel-copper sulfide concentrate, and the effect of the dosage of (NH4)2SO 4 and Na2SO4, first stage roasting temperature, roasting time and second stage temperature on metal extraction was investigated.

Effect of metal ion and ligand on thermal stability of metal amine complexes

TL;DR: A series of transition-metal pyridine complexes, [M(py) 2 X 2] and two series of copper (II) chloride complexes with mono-and dimethyl substituted pyridines and with 4-substituted pyrids were studied by differential thermal analysis as mentioned in this paper.

Thermal stability of transition-metal complexes

Ahmed M. Donia
- 02 Nov 1998 -
TL;DR: In this article, the relationship between the room-temperature structures of transition-metal complexes and their thermal stabilities was investigated and different factors affecting the thermal stability were also clarified.

A new apparatus for simultaneous differential thermal analysis and gas evolution analysis

TL;DR: In this article, a new apparatus is described which permits the simultaneous recording of the differential thermal analysis and gas evolution curves for a given sample from ambient to 900°, where the sample is pyrolyzed in a dynamic helium gas atmosphere using a conventional DTA furnace and sample holder assembly.
