A technique for lymphocyte preparation from stored heparinized blood.

TL;DR: This paper describes a reliable, simple, and quick modification of the method of BOYUM, suitable for the preparation of lymphocytes from fresh blood from healthy people, and also superior t o other techniques for lymphocyte preparations from cadaver blood, and from heparinized blood stored at room temperature for up to 72 h.
Journal ArticleDOI

HLA-A10 in pemphigus among Japanese

TL;DR: The frequency of the major histocompatibility antigen, HLA-A10, was significantly increased in 43 unrelated patients with pemphigus vulgaris and in 25 patients with PemphIGus foliaceus, when compared with 60 unrelated healthy controls.
Journal ArticleDOI

HLA antigens in dermatitis herpetiformis among Japanese.

TL;DR: HLA‐typing was performed on Japanese patients with dermatitis herpetiformis Duhring and only one of them showed granular deposition of IgA at dermal papillae whereas the rest showed linear IgA deposition.
Journal ArticleDOI

HLA antigens in bullous pemphigoid among Japanese.

TL;DR: The incidence of HLA antigens in BP among Japanese was examined to see the linkage with the immune-response gene and a genetic disequilibrium and HLA frequencies among patients with BP might be anticipated.

The History of HLA and Transplantation

TL;DR: If eventually, achievement of high graft survival rates result from antibody detection and removal, the humoral theory of transplantation can be considered to be validated.
