Medroxyprogesterone acetate in the treatment of seizures associated with menstruation

TL;DR: An 8-year-old girl who had a generalized seizure disorder from the age of 5 had an early onset of normal puberty and developed exacerbation of seizures and behavioral abnormalities during menstrual periods and following three biweekly injections of depot-MPA, her menses ceased, and she became seizure-free for 4 months.
