Tree mounted wind turbine

TLDR
In this paper, the wind turbine is fixed to the tree stem and the energy generated may be stored in a battery kept in a house near by the tree, which can be used for temporary electrical supply for research work in the industry, forest, rural area etc.
Abstract
In this invention the wind turbine is fixed to the tree stem. With this mechanism, the need of foundation of the wind turbine is eliminated. The invention is related to small wind turbine. The turbine location is above the top of the tree to get sufficient wind speed. The pole may be attached to the tree with the help of springs to facilitate the growth of the tree. The pole may be attached to a tree stem at four to five different locations. The energy generated may be stored in a battery kept in a house near by the tree. This may be used for temporary electrical supply for research work in the industry, forest, rural area etc.

Electricity Generation Using Wind Tree

TL;DR: In this article, a tree-shaped structure design with a bunch of leaves acting mini-wind turbines is discussed, where each aeroleaf is connected to a DC generator, and all the generators terminals are connected to power convertor that will check and provide a constant DC voltage even if generated voltage is less or high due to wind speed variations.

Propagation of flicker in electric power networks due to wind energy conversions systems

TL;DR: In this article, a frequency domain method to study flicker propagation is presented, which is based on propagation of frequency components from WECS output currents throughout the grid, and an algorithm for flicker measurement in the frequency domain, which allows Pst calculation is proposed.
